White Movement from Sassa Nikolakouli on Vimeo.
Finally, the video!
Our project is a 7 minutes video of white paint falling slowly on a plexi-glass surface hiding the view of London Bridge and people crossing it. It is called “White Movement” borrowing characteristics from the use of word movement as a statement, while at the same time carrying a colour that indicates perfect simplicity and elimination of any meaning that can be given to it. It is all and nothing at the same time. It is the “White” outside its own “Cube” of meanings ready to be given. It is a free demonstration through a group work.
